About us
The language school Alingua was founded April 2008 by a number of enthusiastic language teachers, who were eager to share their knowledge, creativity and experience in different ways for the benefit of their clients.
Alingua started with six students: two for English and four for Dutch. Today more than a hundred students study a dozen different languages with Alingua.
Alingua provides children and adults with language teaching and support and is located within the European School, Bergen. This is of benefit to both institutions since the tailor-made courses of Alingua and the rich learning environment of the school complement each other greatly. Leafy green Bergen is likewise an ideal location for studying and learning due to its ‘artistic’ and ‘relaxing atmosphere’ close to the sea and forests. It is easy to feel ‘at home’ here.
